At Titan Press, we engineer our manual press machines and paper cutters from premium, heavy-duty metal components and finish them with commercial-grade powder coating designed to withstand years of daily use. We are so confident in the durability of our equipment that we back every machine with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty is our commitment to you: if your Titan Press equipment fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship — under normal use and with proper maintenance — we will make it right, whether that means repairing the defective part, sending you a replacement, or replacing the entire unit.
Most issues can be resolved through adjustment or proper setup, and replacement of parts is rarely required. Before filing a warranty claim, please consult our Guides page and contact Customer Service — we can often help resolve the issue quickly.
Our Lifetime Warranty is designed to protect you against defects that originate from the manufacturing process. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, normal wear on consumable parts, or unauthorized modifications. Below is a detailed breakdown.
Covered
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on all structural and mechanical metal components — for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
Not Covered
Damage from improper use, unauthorized repairs, lack of maintenance, and normal wear on consumable parts such as springs.
The Titan Press Lifetime Warranty covers all structural metal parts of your machine against defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal operating conditions. This warranty applies for the lifetime of the original purchaser and is valid from the date of purchase.
Covered Components
- Machine frame and base plate — The main body, base, and all structural framework of the press, including cast and machined metal housing.
- Handle assembly and lever mechanism — The operating handle, pivot joints, and lever arm that power the pressing action, including the handle shaft and attachment points.
- Upper and lower die sets — The metal dies (molds) that form the button or magnet shape, including die plates and die rings.
- Sliding base and rail system — The sliding plate mechanism, guide rails, and any associated locking or positioning components.
- Pivot pins, bolts, and fasteners — All factory-installed pins, bolts, screws, and hardware that hold the machine together.
- Alignment posts and guides — Metal posts, dowels, and guides that ensure proper die alignment during operation.
- Paper cutter frame and blade assembly — The metal body, cutting blade, blade holder, and guide plate of the graphic punch / paper cutter.
The simple rule: If a metal part on your machine cracks, breaks in half, snaps, or otherwise fails under normal use — and the cause is a defect in how it was manufactured — that part is covered. We will repair it, send a replacement part, or replace the entire machine at our discretion.
The following situations and components are not covered under the Titan Press Lifetime Warranty. Please read these exclusions carefully so you understand the boundaries of your coverage.
Excluded Causes of Damage
- Damage caused by improper use or misuse — Operating the machine in a manner inconsistent with the included user guide or our published operating instructions. This includes using incorrect supplies, forcing the mechanism, pressing materials beyond the specified paper thickness (42 lb / 158 GSM max), or using the machine for purposes it was not designed for.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly — Any attempt to repair, modify, alter, or disassemble the machine by anyone other than Titan Press or a Titan Press-authorized technician. This includes replacing parts with non-genuine components. Titan Press provides specific troubleshooting and repair guides — please consult these or contact us before attempting any fix.
- Damage caused by lack of maintenance — Failure to perform routine maintenance as outlined in our Equipment Maintenance Guide, including regular cleaning and lubrication of moving parts. Proper maintenance is a condition of this warranty.
- Damage from accidents, abuse, or negligence — Physical damage resulting from drops, impacts, spills, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, flooding, fire, electrical surges, or any other event beyond normal operating conditions.
- Powder coat and paint finish — The powder coat finish is not covered under this warranty. Scratches, scuffs, chips, peeling, fading, or any other cosmetic changes to the paint or powder coat — whether from use, handling, or any other cause — are excluded from coverage.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function — Surface scratches, scuffs, dents, or other cosmetic wear from normal use that do not impair the machine's operation or structural integrity.
- Damage during shipping (post-delivery) — Damage that occurs during customer-initiated shipping or transport after the original delivery. Shipping damage from the initial delivery should be reported to us immediately upon receipt.
Excluded Parts (Consumables & Wear Items)
- Springs — All springs in the machine, including return springs and tension springs, are consumable components subject to fatigue over extended use and are not covered under this warranty.
- Rubber and silicone components — Any rubber bumpers, pads, grips, O-rings, or silicone gaskets that may degrade over time with use.
- Consumable supplies — Button and magnet supplies including mylar sheets, backing magnets, pin backs, shells, and any other material consumed during the button-making process. These are separate products and are not covered by the machine warranty.
Proper maintenance is a condition of this warranty. Titan Press machines are precision tools that require basic, routine care to perform at their best. Failure to maintain your equipment as outlined in our guides may void your warranty coverage.
Clean Regularly
Wipe down the machine after each use to remove dust, paper fibers, and debris from the dies, base plate, and sliding mechanism.
Lubricate Moving Parts
Apply a light machine oil to all pivot points, the handle mechanism, and the sliding rail system according to our maintenance schedule.
Follow Our Guides
Refer to the Equipment Maintenance Guide on our Guides page for detailed instructions, video tutorials, and recommended products.
Important: If your machine is experiencing an issue, do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself. Consult our published troubleshooting guides on the Guides page or contact our customer service team directly. Unauthorized repairs may void your warranty.
If you believe your machine has a defect covered under this warranty, follow these steps to begin the claim process.
Contact Us
Reach out to our customer service team through our Contact Us page. Provide your full name, order number or proof of purchase, and a description of the issue you are experiencing.
